A decade back, no one thought that we could have bean-to-bar chocolate that is made in India. There were perhaps a few chocolate makers but either they were very expensive or unknown. Good quality chocolate in itself was expensive and dark chocolate was only imported. The last five years have seen a huge change in the scenario. There are many quality chocolate makers in India and today we are going to talk about BeeTee’s Melt chocolates.

BeeTee’s Melt Chocolates is a Bean-To-Bar Chocolate Company
When the chocolate is made from scratch, from the cacao bean to the bar, it is called bean-to-bar chocolate. And BeeTee’s Melt Chocolates are such. The chocolates are a real treat and they are made with a hundred percent high-quality organic ingredients.
They have three variants- dark chocolate, milk chocolate, and coconut milk chocolate, which is quite an interesting one. The dark chocolate is at 72%, milk at 48%, and coconut milk at 54% chocolate percentage.
What we loved about these chocolates
BeeTee’s Melt chocolates are gluten-free, soy-free, refined sugar-free, and preservative-free. So this is a fantastic product for anyone with food allergies. As a family, we are quite picky when it comes to chocolate. And the good ones don’t last long. When the box arrived, the two little monsters were all over it. I had to wrap the box in a newspaper bag and hide it from them. Once we finished the photo shoot, the chocolates finished within a day.
There’s a distinct flavour of bean-to-bar chocolates and once you recognise that, it’s easy to tell fakes. When it comes to chocolates, the best way to savour the taste is to let it melt in the mouth. Any good quality pure chocolate with cocoa butter will just vanish in the mouth without a bad greasy aftertaste. These chocolates melted away gently in the mouth with a beautifully lingering aftertaste.
Beetee’s Melt Coconut Milk Chocolate- a little unusual
- We were sceptical about the coconut milk chocolate but to our surprise, it was fantastic. The flavour of the coconut milk was quite subtle and it didn’t overpower the taste of the chocolate.
- The milk chocolate was not overly sweet. It was sweetened with muscovado sugar and the coconut milk chocolate was sweetened with coconut sugar. So both of them carried an additional raw earthy taste.
- The dark chocolate was quite intense and just a couple of squares was enough to satiate your chocolate pang. This was sweetened with palm sugar
- All the chocolates are made with good quality handpicked cacao from the farms of Vietnam and Kerala.
