This is a winter tale or rather waiting for winter. A post which I had written couple of months back in anticipation that winter will come in soon, however it delayed. Those few days of winter in Kolkata brings a sparkle to Madhushree’s eyes and Tugga our son and her assistant jumps into action . We start with mince pies and many more to come . We also do a review of the new OTG by Borosil – Prima 19 L
We had wonderful memories of Waffles when we visited Athens . Since then we always complained the lack of dedicated store of Waffles in Kolkata . Whacky waffles opens up in Lee Road Kolkata beside Brand factory . If you are around Forum after shopping or a movie this kiosk is a wonderful retreat for desserts .
If you are at Ganga Kutir then you cannot afford to miss the Authentic Bengali restaurant – Sonar Tori . We had a sumptuous lunch there and enjoyed it too . Designed by ace designer Sabyasachi Mukherjee this is worth a visit for all gastronomes . Later a discussion with Chef Firoz Hossain threw some detailed insight on the restaurant . Here is my review .
